Uber Eats Driver Steals Amouranth's Food Order after Taking Picture
Even internet celebrities aren't immune to the latest food delivery scam.
Streamer and OnlyFans model, Amouranth posted a recent video taken from her doorbell camera. The scam which has become more popular in recent weeks occurs when delivery drivers on apps such as Uber Eats and DoorDash take a photo 'proving' that your food has been delivered. After taking the photo, the delivery person takes the food for themselves, and leaves the customer helpless.
Amouranth stated, "There’s a sign in my door that informs people they are on camera." It didn't matter. Her order was still stolen. Seemingly there is no way to fix this problem and one commenter even replied to Uber Support on Twitter, "This happened to me and you guys said it was non-refundable."
Customer service continues to be the absolute worst.
Yo @UberEats why are your delivery drivers stealing my order after taking the picture?
